What We Offer

Tooth Replacement Options in Charlotte

Same-day dental crowns

Same-Day Dental Crowns

Using CEREC in-office milling technology, we design and fabricate your porcelain crown in a single appointment — no temporaries, no second visit, no waiting weeks. Ideal for cracked, decayed, or weakened teeth that need full coverage protection.

Porcelain dental bridges

Porcelain Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is one of the most reliable ways to replace one or more missing teeth. We anchor a custom porcelain bridge to the healthy teeth on either side of the gap, restoring your bite and preventing surrounding teeth from shifting.

Custom dentures Charlotte

Custom Dentures in Charlotte

From partial dentures that fill gaps to full custom dentures for complete tooth replacement, Layton Dentistry crafts comfortable, natural-looking solutions — taking detailed impressions to ensure a secure fit that feels authentically you.

Crown repairs and replacements

Crown Repairs & Replacements

Has an old crown cracked, loosened, or started showing dark margins at the gumline? We replace failing restorations with modern porcelain or zirconia — stronger and more aesthetic than older crowns, often in a single visit.

Implant-supported crowns and bridges

Implant-Supported Crowns & Bridges

Implant-supported crowns and bridges eliminate the need to modify adjacent healthy teeth, delivering the gold standard for single and multi-tooth replacement — with stability and function that rivals natural teeth.

Implant-retained dentures

Implant-Retained Dentures

Snap-on and implant-retained dentures offer dramatically better stability than traditional removable dentures. Ask us about anchoring your denture to implants for a solution that stays secure and comfortable all day.

Common Questions

Crowns, Bridges & Dentures FAQ

How long does a same-day crown appointment take? +
Most same-day crown appointments at Layton Dentistry take between 90 minutes and 2 hours — including tooth preparation, digital scanning, in-office milling, and final placement. No temporary crown, no second visit.
Are porcelain crowns as strong as metal crowns? +
Modern porcelain and zirconia crowns are extremely durable — often lasting 15+ years with proper care. They're strong enough for back molars and far more natural-looking than metal alternatives.
What's the difference between a crown and a bridge? +
A crown covers and protects a single damaged tooth that still has its root. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth entirely, using adjacent teeth or implants as anchors. We'll recommend the right option during your consultation.
How do I know if dentures are right for me? +
Dentures are a good fit if you're missing most or all of your teeth and want a non-surgical, cost-effective solution. We also offer implant-supported options for patients who want more stability. We'll review all tooth replacement options together.
Does insurance cover crowns and bridges? +
Most dental insurance plans cover a portion of medically necessary crowns and bridges (typically 50%). We're happy to review your benefits before treatment. We also offer flexible financing and our Layton Membership for patients without insurance.
How long do dental bridges last? +
A well-maintained porcelain dental bridge typically lasts 10–15 years. Longevity depends on oral hygiene, anchor tooth condition, and regular checkups. We'll show you how to clean underneath your bridge to protect it long-term.
